FFG233 ([68Ga]Ga-NNS309) is an investigational Gallium-68-labeled radioligand PET imaging agent developed by Novartis. It targets fibroblast activation protein (FAP), a serine protease selectively overexpressed on cancer-associated fibroblasts in the tumor stroma of most epithelial malignancies, with minimal expression in normal adult tissue. As a diagnostic agent, it is used in PET/CT or PET/MRI imaging to identify FAP-positive lesions in patients with solid tumors, including pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and breast cancer. It serves as the companion diagnostic imaging agent for Novartis's therapeutic radioligand [177Lu]Lu-NNS309, allowing for patient selection based on FAP expression.
